Offered here for sale through this listing are 61x individual issues of The Walking Dead Deluxe comic book series, written by Robert Kirkman.

These issues range from issue #1 all the way up to issue #62, but MISSING issue #30. Also included are protective comic book storage bags and boards for each issue and a reusable hard-plastic BCW comic book storage box - an incredible additional value!!

"The Walking Dead Deluxe" series is a reprinting of the original Walking Dead comic books, but this time in FULL COLOR! The original comic books had color covers, but the inside pages were all in black and white. The author, Robert Kirkman, said he used the black and white originally because color was too expensive, and also the black and white added to the retro-horror-film vibe in which the zombie comic was rooted.

But now that the series is over and the story has become a global phenomena with spin off television series and more, the team behind the comic has the resources to present the original comic here in color! One of the other cool things about the Deluxe series of comics is that there are not only the original notes and reader sent-in questions and responses at the end of the comic, but the creator Robert Kirkman has also included new end notes on the final pages that have his recent reflections on the story documented as well as further insights into the development of the comic and its characters and plot! These comics make a great addition to any comic book collection, and are the premier color version of the comics for any enthusiast of the Walking Dead new or old!

New readers will love the story in color, and old readers will appreciate the new end notes and the different cover art. This lot is of 61x comic books - issues #1 all the way to issue #62, but missing issue #30. I'm not sure why I missed issue thirty, but I looked everywhere for it and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I was going to collect the full run of these comic books, but I recently decided that I would not commit to completing the full collection.

The full series has about 193 issues, so sixty issues is only about a third of the series. The first sixty issues have a lot of important key comic issues in them, however, where many characters are introduced or important plot points happen or the rest of the series. There are important issues like #'s 1-10, which get harder to find as time goes on, and also issues like #19 which is the first appearance of Michonne, a really popular character from the series. While these deluxe comics are technically reprints of the original, they have never before been printed in color. Additionally these are first printings of the color versions, and many have unique comic book cover art. Each book was handled, read, and enjoyed. This is a READER'S COLLECTION, so the books might not be in perfect condition. Books may have slight spine damage, dings on corners, or minimal surface wear. That said, all of the books in this collection have awesome eye-appeal and were stored in their acid-free comic book bags and boards produced by Ultra Pro after they were read. Additionally, the comics were stored inside of a BCW hard plastic re-usable and stackable comic box that is included with this collection. All of these protective materials keep the comics in very good condition. Additionally, the comic books were stored in a smoke-free environment. Please carefully inspect all of the listing pictures to make sure that the items meet your condition standards and expectations before purchasing. The comic books will be stored in their individual bags and boards, and kept inside of the BCW hard plastic box.

The box will be filled with some additional cushioning packing material and will be placed inside of a fitted cardboard box.
